- barryriddl474Seasoned NewcomerI also love the designing aspect of the game, and the fact that it's a Simpson simulation game makes it even better. I enjoy building very large (100+ sq ft) dioramas in my home as a hobby, so I always enjoy a good design game, lol. I didn't really lol there, but the term seems to be popular with the kids these days.
Back on topic, I prefer large areas for certain properties (mansions, Cletus' farm, etc.) like many, and the land restriction means I don't buy certain premium properties requiring large parking areas. So, I think more land would benefit EA for people who don't buy more with donuts because of this.
I am always tweaking my town, and that's how I play. All of the rest is just icing on the cake.
But yeah, more land and more everything! - Every update I have to re-arrange my town because i have no more space i have been playing since day 1 and got pretty much all buildings and i have no land so i can't keep my town the way i like it
we need more LAND - I'm hoping that EA is working on this and will surprise us with land with the VD event.

I was really happy to get all the cool stuff. I love the boats, the grocery store (which I had not seen coming) the three new characters and the food stand. I like the Courthouse and love, love, love the statues with the animation.
I appreciate the update, I mean we haven't seen one for a while, which is understandable due to the string of events starting with Halloween, then Thanksgiving and ending with Christmas. I realize all this takes time. but here is the problem....
I am literally and figuratively out of land. I had to eliminate a small pond, which I liked, to fit the grocery store in.
I had to move Asia de Cuba across town where I had a blue house, causing me to store the house. This was okay since for some reason it didn't effect my 5 star ranking, which is always at risk when removing a house.
I had to relocate my Mapple Store (I really hated doing this because I liked where it was set in a trendy shopping area.) I moved it to accommodate the Courthouse. Now the Mapple store is crammed into an area which seems wrong... but I have really no choice since I can't put it into Mr. Burns front yard or the parking lot next to Duff Stadium.
I have stored Springfield Downs and Kong Tower due to the added buildings we got during Christmas.
I removed all of my Christmas stuff except for the Holiday Tree forest which surrounds my Santa's Village and blends into a real forest...
The fact is, I have no land left unless I eliminate parking areas (I've reduced the size of every, single parking lot to the point where there isn't very much left to remove.)
Please, for those of us who like the designing part of this game and play it mainly for this factor, give us the land we need. One strip in the back, one strip on the side... And for the love of everything holy, let us extend Squidport out into the sea giving us a real dock area...
While I'm at it, let us put some decorations on our inland water and give us a new pathway that is half as wide and made of dirt or sand or gravel... Please.
Let the screaming about how we don't really need land begin.

And I would also like to have more Squidport tiles. I'm maxed out and have a couple docks for my boats, but no room for the Ferris wheel or Planet Hype. And if you take in to account how much water we have to use, the max amount of SP tiles looks pretty small.- Why don't you store Santa's Village?

You might not want to use initials for that event.
When I said the 'kid's town' I was referring to what you said about your kid on another thread not the OP's town. Sorry for any confusion.
Oh, okay.
I can take things very literally at times... (I'm an Aspergers person who wrote TV comedy for years... So the literal thing is counterintuitive to being a sarcastic * but we Aspies tend to be literal thinking jerks at times)
I've used VD for that event since high school. (My 40th HS reunion is this Spring. When I realized this, I felt really, really old.)various121 wrote:

Some members have posted about losing premium items they place in storage, I would not risk itdgwglenn wrote:

Gosh. That's a bit vague. :)- I may be hated or villainized for past postings which I AM appologetic for, but I don't want to be afraid to post ever again, and this one topic
LAND
is one I fully stand behind. I don't care why it technologically would be bad, I don't :)
I had to do this very thing, store things I liked and move things around a lot to figure out where the courthouse will go, because I think that it's an important element to a town, but I have things spread out, and I like it that way, and no amount of people telling me that I can't have more room will suffice.
I will not be satisfied until this is rectified!!!!!
ROAR!!!!!! DAMMIT!!! various121 wrote:

My forest with Santa's Village is one of my favorite areas.
