- wadebearRetired HeroStill $99.99 in the US.
- Same price here...
- I'd imagine it's a tax thing. Or maybe Canada secretly hates donuts...

Is it just me or has the cost for donuts risen again? I bought a boatload before X-mas for 129.99 Canadian and now it's 149.99 for boatload. I know the Canadian dollar is in the toilet but COME ON. Has the price gone up in the US too?
Odd, my boatload costs CD$139.99. I do believe it was CD$129.99 before as well. Do prices vary by province (in this case, Ontario). Where are you posting from?
With donut price increases like that, I'd expect them to throw in a double-double (hey, it's Roll up the Rim season...) SlayerGal13 wrote:
Not just you, I've been noticing the increases too. It's $139.99 for me. I'm in Quebec.
I'm in Quebec too (South Shore of Montreal) and hope it's just a "f" up on there part. Stinks how it seems to only affect Canada though.anaquarind wrote:

Now I want a Tims double double and a chocolate donut. Hope your happy. ;)- It all has to do with the current exchange rate. The price in US dollars is still $99.99 which currently is equal to 138.46 in Canadian dollars. the extra 1.53 could have to do with taxes.
- I am pretty sure I read someplace that this had to do with taxes in other countries. Can't find it now though. :(
There is an old thread = Donut tax (sorry, i can never get the links right), but I am pretty sure I saw on official blurb somewhere, also. pichu2727 wrote:

I know it's gotta do with exchange rate and that's okay. It's not "okay" but what can I do about it? 0. What bums me out is that it's only Canada. LPN said in Italy it hasn't gone up & someone from Europe said it didn't go up. Only in Canada. Remember we're spending our currency ($, , £, ¥, ?) on superficial "currency" and now being charged up the WAZOO.
