EA is a disgrace. Never seen such blatant disregard for coustomer service. EVER.

man it's stuff like this that makes me want to not just stop playing, but take these guys DOWN. If they can't give the most basic customer service, they don't deserve to be selling games.

    Apple should have this game taken down immediatley. People should get their money back. It's a disgrace that this game is the number 1 grossing game on the iTunes store. EA must be laughin their * off about all those suckers burning money on their glitched game.
  • Wow... 7/10 people have had their Springfield's reset. This problem is worse than I thought... yet EA aren't doing anything about it.
  • Anyone who has lost money can easily contact Apple support through iTunes and it will get resolved very fast. As for lost Springfields, I'd really like to know how these sort of things are happening. What's causing it. Because I have been playing since day 1 (march 1st) and never once have I encountered any of these problems. I originally started playing on my iPhone 3G & have since as of September been playing on iPad 3
  • I agree Ive now lost a level 14 and 16... the 16 being yesterday. Im * pissed. How are EA so unsupportive of their game???? This is ridiculous. I want some answers and my level 16 back at least! Come one EA get your head out of your * and fix our lost Springfields for * sakes.

    I was obviously angry and stopped playing after this, since I put SO much effort and nearly a month of effort to get my town to level 15. I would be even more angry if I had paid for * donuts and then have all my premium items shitted away for nothing. I doubt EA would give me a refund for donuts lost. Seeing as they don't even have any discussion with coustomers about this product.
    Eventually EA rolled out the Halloween update and I thought that I'd give it another run thinking that it couldn't happen TWICE. Maybe they had rectified the problem with the update? Seeing as there are MULTIPLE people who've had the same problem. This isn't just localised just to me. Just look at the forums and you'll find threads with people complaining about this problem.
    Anyway, I reach level 10 and I'm enjoying the game again, especially with the cool halloween updates and then yesterday I get the SAME message, albeit with a slight difference.
    "There is a level 5 Springfield already on this device... Is this your Springfield?"
    NO, IT'S NOT MY F-ING SPRINGFIELD! But thanks EA, at least you made this Springfield a level 5, so if I am STUPID enough to play your game again I don't have to go through the tutorial.
    I click on view to see what this Springfield is like. It's got like three bulidings, and I can't even DO anything, the only button I can press is the one with the simpson's house on it. I can't engage in the game in any other way. When I click on this button it takes me back to the screen with the loading donut saying the same stupid message about how there's a level * 5 springfield on my account!

    TL;DR- F this game. F EA, they don't give two Sh!ts about coustomers.
    And for the Fs sake, do NOT spend money on this *. Cause any day you could have your Springfield reset and never get it back again.



    I don't know if you have restarted, but I can get you leveled up rather quick.. Level 15 easy in a 24 hour period or less in most cases! :mrgreen:

    Here is the solution:

    Select iPhone
    Select iTunes Store
    Select Connecting to iTunes Store…
    Answer OS, Version, Country and Describe as “Apple ID is disabled”
    Enter your Apple ID and Password
    Provide your contact info and enter the following note:
    I can log on to the Apple website to manage my account and all the information

    is correct, but I get “Your Apple ID has been disabled” when I try to get

    something from App Store on my iPhone.
