EA is looking into the lagging and freezing isues

There is another side to this, from a troubleshooting perspective.

First, not everyone is experiencing the same issues. I have 3 towns on the same device. On one I have no issues, at all. On the second, there is significant lag when I collect from buildings. If I wait, and let it collect I can move on and all is well. If I have a no patience event and click and move while its collecting, it will overload and freeze. It will eventually resume but after an extended time, so a hard close is the fix.

On the third everything is sooooo slow. That being said, everything works if you wait. On that town I have finished Act 1, I have crafting to level 6, and bought out everything I didn't have in the store. No issues other than slow. No issues on all three visiting friends.

Other people have the store items gone. Also some have crafting not working. Some have levels of the tome being reset. Some can't visit neighbors.

This is a debug nightmare. The issue will be finding if there is a commonality in the code causing these issues, and then figuring out why it triggers in some games but not others.

EA has responded more to this updates glitches in the last two days than they did to "The Glitch" in 2 years. If you are expecting an overnight magic patch to fix this mess you are dreaming. They have asked through @johncolombo that we post on EA Answers on a specific page what we are experiencing. They are trying to find the root cause.

I am not an EA fan. I dealt with 'The Glitch' over and over for a year. Glitches are frustrating But some of the rants going on about this are a bit over the top.
