Don't complain now - their call centres must be flooded. In the past they've given everyone free donuts when there were long interruptions.
A server outage this big and long is unusual though. With Pokemon Go being DDOS'd, I'm with LPN that maybe EA is being DDOS'd too.

Distributed Denial Of Service - basically overloading a server until it crashes. Distributed meaning there are lots of computers involved.
