ok.. i am a new player (started dec 30) and just passed 49. i looked at the way the game wants you to play (either buy tons of crap, which i do not like) or build homes. started with browns and grew into blues and now have 200 blues 200 whites on my way to 50. so ea doesnt like the way i play? THEY MADE IT THAT WAY!!!
if other players dont like looking at house farms there is a simple solution! UNFRIEND! I have unfriended people for mutlitudes of reasons! You can add people at an alarming rate (to the cap) and its easy. there are many springfields i have not like, but guess what? i dont care how they build! thats THEIR idea, not mine. i just need their town for friend points (which is the only reason to have friends).
i had no idea you can trade in game money for donuts. i looked and looked but thought this impossible! I petitioned EA to reduce or even eliminate xp for houses (after the quests, what do you need xp for for houses?) which would have been a better solution for slowing leveling (god knows i looked for no xp cash flow options but found none).
the reality is, the people on EA in charge of the game are NOW trying to force people to play THEIR game, which isnt the way it is marketed.
And if they are causing prices of buildings to skyrocket, they MUST adjust the Comfort rating BS. if you need 10 kwikimarts to have top consumerism (or whatever it is), then they make it cost prohibitive to buy them, but dont add more buildings to make up the default... its a pathetic, unthought out system.
I was saving donuts to get something special, but now, i have NO DESIRE to do anything with ea... pathetic..
