and i don't see how your reply has to do with a free barney skin.
I am just making a joke because i thought it would be amusing if they give another barney skin away for free so people have them in their inventory bugging them to buy Barney. Not that it bothers me either way as i got him for Santa coins last Xmas. I think that's where he came from.

Don't forget that as well as releasing the Launch Pad & astronaut skins for Homer & Barney. They also got to add Buzz Aldrin as a playable character

I got barney and the bowlarama free last year during the christmas event, so not everyone payed for him.

They do often offer premium items for free, usually long after initial release, those who bought it at the time of release got to enjoy it and the benefits of having it first. "extra income from jobs and the increased Payouts. Typically the "fremiums" come with reduced job paypouts..

Or they could easily not include barney in the story line "Job wise" for those who do not have barny, but have him talk to homer in balloon form.

I completely agree with maxxspider, think about how many people complain over little things w a FREE game. If they gave away a formerly premium character, there would be a revolt.

Which sucks but it's true, EA could never "unpremium" and item or character.

It's already happened. Mr Plow, Homer Snowman, Bart Snowman are all premiums from before & are able to get for free from the wheel. You can also get the 3 new snowmen of Grampa, SLH & Snowball II

What they can do in this case is release the Launch Pad with Buzz Aldrin & Astronaut Homer. Then release Astronaut Barney as a separable premium skin.

They already have..... I got barny free last christmas.. I got Fat tony free earlier this year. "Cant remember what event it was for tho"

But when they have released fremiums for a limited time, the job payout's have been reduced to regular.
