Earning money
there is only 2 ways to earn money fast 1. house farm 2. buy lots of premium decorations to increase multiplier doesn't matter though there is no rush just enjoy the game

I agree with the others. At weekends when I have absolutely nothing to do, I put everyone available on 1 hour tasks, except Shauna. I have 56 characters I think. 5 are premium unless Homer is free, so I put him to plow Homer. If every character is available and I go on every hour for 12 hours I get
-with Homer (plow) $49,560 (might not be accurate as I counted Shauna as a 1 hour tasks instead of 2 half hour ones)
- Homer (normally) $49,140 (same as above in brackets as well)
Plus more with buildings and multipliers!
