I posted in another thread that I hoped the event wouldn't start with a 24hr task and I was wrong - it started with THREE 24hr tasks!!!
I'm in the 'won't be wasting donuts to speed up' club too. I wasn't expecting the update until tomorrow anyway, so starting it properly on Wednesday is ok.
