What? A bug with a new release??

I saw this was being worked on but i'm determined to voice my concern hopefully leading to a quick-ER fix than later.

The lightspeed bundles are only available for a week. I made a deal with a guild mate where I would send him a lightspeed bundle free for him. He jumped ahead and sent me some crystals ahead of time to show me some appreciation (wasn't requested or needed but nice of him).

Now I find myself in the position where it says he isn't eligible to receive gifts and unable to receive the lightspeed bundle we had come to an agreement on.

I feel like this could put my integrity into question and create distrust within the guild. Not to mention the potential of the problem going past a week and we miss out on the bundle purchases.

Further, some people in my fleet arena have been able to get bundles while others and I have not, which will cost us fleet placement and crystal income as it is a huge difference in power for newer accounts. They should make these bundles available for purchase for self immediately while they figure out their gifting issues (which is such a flawed system ripe for abuse but that's a whole other conversation).

I am in the same boat as you, worked really hard to get where I am in Fleet, and just watching it disappear.

Had a guild mate buy me a bundle nearly 6-7 hours ago with the idea that I would then buy one for them. Still nothing has shown up in my game. They swear the game took their money. With this approach to gifting, there will now be an added layer to wondering if this is a bug in the game or if the other person is telling the truth or not. I have no reason to believe they are lying, but this format puts us in the kind of situation where instead of dealing with CG with support, we are pitted against other players. This puts us in such an uncomfortable spot.

I gift the bundle Shadow of the empire for my GF account they charge me the money on my CC but no bundle received...

Shouldn’t be this hard to give a company your money.
