Feeling Sad
Maybe check out the Friend section on the forum for a mix of friend levels. Sounds like you have too many that have played longer than you?

If you have been away, welcome back. But there's no reason to feel sad.
The goal of the game is not to be hovering at the end of it all the time, waiting for the next new thing. The goal is not to have the highest multiplier, or the most cash or donuts, or to have every feature.
The goal is to have fun! So what about this game is actually the fun part for you?
If it's being competitive with other players and having something "better" than they do, i can't help you because i don't think that way.
But if fun for you is designing a town that's unique, with clever and amusing features, you can resume doing that any time! And there's no time limit!
If fun for you is designing as best you can with the resources available to you, no matter what they are, well you can do that all you like! It's your very own SF!
If fun to you is coming here to talk about the exciting new parts of the game, or to build something new then share a pic with us, well you can certainly do that any time! We're always here!
Please try to look up out of your blue mood, and please try to step back from your mad rush to consume all to be bought, and tap all to be tapped.
See instead, that this game is fun when you commit to the long haul. Accept the limitations of your (and your budget's) abilities. It's not about collecting and winning. It's about creating and sharing.
This is the path to zen tapping! Get on it! Feel the joy!
Are you buying any of this?
It sounds hokey, but the secret is, it's all true! Of course it takes a little patience and an open mind. Yeah i know, who has those anymore.
Good luck and happy tapping!
Talk about your The Simpsons: Tapped Out experience with other TSTO players.
