Perhaps but I meant in a way meaning that I could collect more from MerryMakers and business drops to have more, also I wouldn't have just stayed on the current amount of festive hats hence in my opinion it was the proper use of "only" but even still I wasn't trying to "brag" I asked a question but maybe some people perhaps thought of bragging because I had already 50k but as already said I got friends with more than me so I am no way the top guy with festive hats.

That, and I never could understand why anyone would want to spend real money in order to rush through an event as quickly as possible. This event is barely 24 hours old. I have a couple of neighbors with more than 50K hats too and they have every single prize, every single craftable, and 100% of the SH 2 update completed. All of that progress took major donut rushing and what is the point of that?

It's a legitimate question. I really want to know. Why spend all that money when all you would have to do is play the game as it was intended to be played and you would get everything you currently have for free?

Simple answer is perhaps because some people are impatient, I didn't spend any donuts and waited like everyone else till about level 20, but sick of constantly waiting. Let's be honest would you rather wait a couple of seconds or hours? So I decided to invest money into this game which I think isn't nothing wrong. Since I donated the donuts I just decided to rush all the missions. True it has been barely 24 hours old but I want all the new stuff right now instead of having to wait. Plus I am basically making up for loss time for other events which I have missed which was a lot. So the point being I couldn't handle having to wait and wait so I just rushed it all.

I spend my money because I have some left over to spend on the game, technically spending donuts is still playing and also already mentioned I am impatient. And the game was intended to be played the way you want the way you wanted to make your Springfield. I chose to build my Springfield with donuts, I don't see the problem.

Like the OP, these people aren't "spending" money. They have acquired donuts, as miraclemet pointed out, by other means which can't be spoken of here on the official EA forums. OP likely will deny it, but it's pretty obvious . . .

True I am not spending money but rather donuts which I bought with money. "Other means" basically meaning a credit card.

No point being noisy, if people choose to spend money on a game they let them do it, if you don't want to spend money on a game and rather be a so called "Freemium" for what ever reason this nickname was made then so be it, I am not judging so neither should you.

Anyways if we could go back on topic, hence it was a really simple question which escalated for some unknown reason. Thanks :)
