Fracking servers are at it again.

So I log in this morning, getting the same msg as everyone else.. game crashes... I restart it and tryed to log into origin a couple times, when i exited to origin log in screen .. the logo to log in was gone, just like L_Marques (above me)

Any ides on whats going on?

All fixed... guess it was the server issue

Strange happenings for me this morning.

First, the game told me that I had been logged out of my town. Ok, fine, I entered my email to log back in, but was told that Origin couldn't access the servers. But...it had no problem loading up some random level 3 anonymous game for me. And then it would not let me log out of said anonymous game.

When I came to check here to see if this was a widespread issue, even the forum wouldn't load.

Hopefully all will be resolved when I get home from work.

Ironically, I was just showing my wife my finished re-design just before going to bed...

Mercy! Three and a half hours (but who's counting) of forum lockout.

And now to check the game....and it's good. No friends back yet, but town open and operating.

Now to head over to the "You know you are addicted to TSO when..." thread.

I've been busy working on a project so have been scarce on the forum and only playing the game about once a day. I start my morning by checking here to make sure there are no problems before logging into my game and surprise, surprise, massive problems.

A couple of comments before I go back to my project (school's yearbook if anybody is curious what has taken over my life):

1 - That server issue image? Is a generic one. When the programming is done (coded), you can elect to have an image pop up. The image does not mean they are working on it.

2 - Relax. Everybody knows this is a crappy and unreliable game. It truly is "play at your own risk" and I know it feels better to complain but EA is making so much money that they really don't care.

3 - Do not do anything drastic or risk getting your town restarted. All you can do is wait it out. I suggest trying to sign into your Origin account either on the client or on the web. If you can access your friends list there? Then it is back. That will prevent any accidental restarts of your town.

4 - Be careful signing in and out of your town. If you have been logged out? Then just wait it out.

Finally.....I feel so much better about this game since I've backed off and only play once a day. Less stress, less frustration, and a reminder that it IS just a game and really not worth the hassle.

I put a work order in a couple weeks ago, which was closed yesterday or the day before. Hopefully it's all down because stability is on it's way!
