Freemium players - how are you doing?

I have 5500 probes, I'm about halfway to Hugo, maybe a third of the way to the grand pumpkin. No donuts spent except on getting SVT on day two. I think I'm right on track.

I'm way behind. My second town - pure freemium - is only at ~2000 probes. My main town - freemium as far as this event goes - has fewer.

Life is getting in the way of playing more. Twice a day in my second town, just once a day in my main town.

It is kinda annoying, because it's not like I'm playing all that much less than during CoC or Stonecutters and those were finished easily in my main town.

100% Freemium here too. Got Hugo in the early afternoon today. Still a ways to go on the Grand Pumpkin, but if things continue as they are, I'm on track to get the Donut Torture Device on Friday, I think.

4700 probes, around 70 eggs saved up.

I'm at the bottom of my leader board.

I just spent all my donuts, took the plunge and got the ray gun. I hope it helps, because i really wanted the drive in. But i made the sacrifice to try to catch up in the event.

Side question, anyone notice "spooky walls"? I have three in inventory that i never bought, and don't see how to buy more. These r are the purple cobblestone walls that match the wailing Wall.

I also found 3 in my inventory. I crafted 2 and realized after the second one I was using valuable inventory, now I'm saving. Hoping for the Grand Pumpkin/ Pumpkin House.

6400 probes, 1/2 way to the pumpkin, and i'll have Hugo in a day or so.

While the event fails in the neighbor department its just right in the freemium grind department and what i'd expect. if you want to play for free you gotta work for it.

I play about 3-4 times a day and have been doing so since the first day of the event, yet I'm only at 2700 ish probes and half way just to Hugo. I don't get what I'm doing wrong other than not playing every hour? I'm not even getting close to 671 probes a day. I get the 90 each day from friends and tap all aliens in my town when playing but still no way near :-(

Playing is the majority of free probes. You get approx 150 probes every 4hrs. Hitting that 4hr play mark 4x per day is pretty key to making the daily target.

Not too badly. Really close to getting Hugo. Not sure about the Grand Pumpkin, I'd really love to get him but I'm only about 1/3 of the way there and not getting an overwhelming number of gold treat bags. I'll be pleased if I get Hugo, maybe a little disappointed if I do't get the Pumpkin but I think I'll live.

Going at a good clip to get the Donut Machine too so that is a plus! I've gotten all the prizes there but that.

Personally I like the pace of this, it's challenging but doable and not so easy that you get bored like we did with CoC.
