I'm chiming in here on my game freezing, but it was my Android game that froze. First time that's happened in months.

Playing on an iPad 2, freezing frequently, rarely had that problem prior to the monorail event.

Game still freezing badly. I can clear a few buildings and then it freezes....getting really annoying.

I just had the most useless chat with someone from EA. He wouldn't listen when I explained how many players have been posting about this issue and that it seemed to start at the same time for everyone. He kept going on about how I should close my apps, and restart my phone and yadda yadda yadda. It was extremely frustrating, and I could sense that even the rep was getting frustrated because I knew more about this than they did. Man, it is so ridiculous how hit-or-miss EA's help is. Had the same situation with the donut loss glitch a few weeks back. Some had no idea what to do, others replaced my missing donuts while we chatted.Unacceptable, EA.

I stored all my track and the freezing went away. Drastic I know, but I want to be able to play. No problems yet since I did that.Edit: The last thing I'll ever do is call EA support. I'd have to be desperate. It took me 30 mins to get back into my B-Town with it freezing almost immediately. I finally got into edit mode right after it loaded and hit the track button to turn off the engine moving. Then stored all the track. I even stored the station and pulled it back out.

My game freezes when I visit neighbors. I can only visit between 2-3 neighbors before the game freezes up. Sometimes it freezes during my first visit. I apologize to my neighbors, it is frustrating.

My game freezes after I tap the third building in each town. I have no problems if I only tap two buildings.

This started a few days ago. I don't have any tracks connected to my stations so maybe it's due to friends not disconnecting their tracks?

Freezing is getting worst since act 3 started. Extremely annoying. Need to have this fixed.

Haven't had a lot of problems until act 3 started.

I've had the game crash before but since act 3 I get this weird thing where I load the game and it's a frozen screen. Forces me to exit and wait a little while to restart again.

Same thing happened this morning trying to reset tasks. It's only happpened occasionally before now, but this morning it froze at least 7 or 8 times. Finally gave up. Haven't visited my friends yet but I hope it's better.

My game freezes as well from time to time. There doesn't seem to be any logic to it. It will also freeze when i'm just assinging tasks to my LYP, so not just monorail related. Sometimes it even freezes on startup and I have to clear all apps kept in memory in order to continue playing.

Because I recently was force to update to Android 5.x I assumed it had something to do with that. I also notice sluggishness in other games.

And now I read that I might need to store every monorail thingie and rebuilt. :shock:
Well I might just do that, but after the event is over... it isn't that bad for me. :roll:

I've just got a new Android device which is much faster than my previous and it seems to have solved a lot of the freezing problems, though not all, the game does still run very slowly at times. I guess EA are trying to load to much into the game for our devices to cope with :shock:

Mine just started freezing yesterday, and it seems to only do it when I'm clicking the character icons in the corner. I haven't experienced it with my neighbors, but that's probably because the game crashes when I visit them ...

been having the same issue since act 3 started. contacted EA which was no help since they just gave me the standard, restart, reinstall advice which hasn't helped. They also promised me 15 donuts which I haven.t received yet either. I can't find any pattern to the freezing either. Sometimes I get on and can play for up to 10 minutes other times I'm lucky if I get 10 seconds. Visiting neighbors has been almost impossible the last several days. Overall EXTREMLY annoying

Things have been ok for me on my Android phone and tablet for a while now, although I do get the occasional crash on start up where I have to force close the app. It doesn't happen that often, thankfully.
