Once you get all the friend point prizes there's a very small chance of getting a donut from tapping friends' building or decorations that earns an income.

You get extra income if friends tap your buildings and decorations.

There's also a bug that been around for a few months which is when visiting some friends it prevents you from tapping their buildings but you can still tag their Moe's, police station, Springfield Elementary and town hall.
