Frozen characters at Wolfcastle Mansion

I paid with donuts to end a 4-hour job. A ton of other characters were still finishing that same job in due time. The characters whose job I ended prematurely can no longer be selected since. 

When I see the yellow thumbs indicating that the job was finished, they come out of Wolfcastle Mansion and go back in automatically. 

I can't assign them other jobs. 

Clicking on Wolfcastle Mansion will not show any characters. 

I have already logged out, shut down the game, restarted my Android device. 

Please advise. Thank You.
