Game suggestion- new mystery box for non premium items

My suggestion is a non-premium equivalent of the yearbook. It would hold any event/promotional items not in the yearbook, cost upwards of 100k - 200k per open and have no refresh feature to even things out.
This game has been out for 7 years now, and a lot of items have only appeared once. For people new to the game there’s a lot of cool costumes or decorations that feel like they’ll never return. I think the yearbook was a great item, but it’s missing a lot of things, since it only holds premium items so it could use a cash equivalent.
  • Umm..... You're failing to understand. The content in the Yearbook IS the old stuff. It's the stuff you won or could only buy in a particular event. Now it's premium.

There’s still stuff missing from the yearbook, a lot of stuff. The yearbook only holds items that were rereleased as a donut promotion. e.g, after the superheroes event you could later buy radioactive man for donuts. He is in the yearbook, but fallout boy isn’t because he was never re released for donuts.
  • One of the problems with the new style of events is the lack of decorations. In the past, the events had crafting. With these you could craft to get the more of the decorations that you wanted. Except Moe's Ark (zoo), you had to cycle through the entire set to get just what you wanted most. But even that you got cool decorations that you could design with.
On top of that, the newer players don't get all the different types of craftables. Like with the Wild West event you could get 3 different styles of rock piles, 3 different styles of rock pillars and 3 different styles of cactus rocks. For a total of 9 styles of rocks. This was something that gave you more to design with and made designing more fun. I think that now you can only get the rock piles and really limits your designs and creative juices.
I would like to see crafting brought back. And for the newer players, they should bring back a method to get all of the past decorations, not just a few.
  • Well I'm a new player and I hope the next event was better then this last one there wasn't anything worth getting really I got the rings which I could careless about the new character don't have animation for the rings the dressing room sucks but I'm sure some people enjoyed it which is fine I just disliked it I've just been buying stuff from the yearbook

All my favourite events offered loads of design possibilities. I wonder if it’d be possible/realistic to run ‘replay’ events. Vets who have everything could happily opt out, newer players could have access to the content (I could always use some new runway pieces too).

  • I loved the Wild West event for being able to craft all the desert decorations which I use not only in the Western Set but also near my National Park area, ancient Egypt - and even use the rock formations in my Mars area.

But I really miss the Stonecutters event daily riddles! Still my favorite :)
