The Yearbook Mystery Box costs 30 donuts per chance. Store -> usually the middle panel of the main page, if not then Store -> Yellow Arrow -> Homer Budha panel -> second item. You can't mistake it, it looks like a school yearbook with Jebediah Springfield on it.
The Treehouse of Horror XXXI Mystery Box Tokens cost 60 for one, or 240 for 5 (48 each).
The Yearbook stuff will always be there and always cost 30 donuts per chance. So you can ignore that stuff if you want to buy the items listed in the Treehouse of Horror XXXI category (the panel in the store with the demon).
If you want everything from the Treehouse of Horror XXXI Mystery Box you should go ahead and buy the stuff that's available from the Yearbook first because it's cheaper that way.
Of course all this is a moot point if you can't afford it. I've already spent over 1500 donuts in this event and I haven't bought everything I'm going to get. No, I'm not rich, I KEM farm and make donuts all day long. This is my first THOH where I can actually get everything I want and I'm all giddy with excitement.

The Devil Float also appears in the Vault with a 10 donut rebate making the net price of it 30 donuts (the same price getting it in the Yearbook Mystery Box) so its another option of getting it if you get it in your Vault.

I saw them in Premium for 1 Donut each and thought, "Well I'm glad I bought 940 when I did", or did I spend 940 Donuts??? and I had just forgotten.

I had bought them to mix with Cobblestone Wall and so they didn't take up room they were put into storage, just realised there's a % so they're back out now, gone from 357.10 to 404.10.

You could craft them in 2 events. But you probably took advantage of the re-placement glitch like I did, except I concentrated on Wailing Walls mostly.

I don't remember a glitch, I am sure I paid IGC for them.
The only good glitch I had was after tapping three buildings in OS and it told me to come back in 30 minutes not 24 hrs.

You're right, there was a time they cost cash. Last year. I wasn't playing then.
