Don't judge but I hacked Pokemon red and blue to make surfing pikachu.
I can't believe it I'm not mad just disappointed - I thought you could only get surfing Pikachu in Yellow rather than Red and Blue. Not that I ever did of course. Ahem.
- Hey, the graphics in Pokemon stadium for some of the hacked critters were pretty funny. The flying snorlax for instance. Not that giving Pokemon random powers helped win battles, just looked cool seeing a flying dugtrio lol.
There was actually a guy on ebay selling surfing pikachu for $30. You would win the auction then mail him your cartridge. He would then give you a surfing pikachu and mail it back. Not bad money for 30 seconds of work once you knew how. I was/am to lazy. I would much rather shoot at a computer now than stare at ones and zeros to see which changed what x happened so I could edit the save file in a hexed it program. Back in the day though I murdered the old SSI D&D game stats lol. ArminsFrozenPeas wrote:

With Pokemon stadium for n64 and a game genie anything was possible. You just had to go through 54000 lines of code looking for the value you wanted to change.chrisp530 wrote:

I don't really care if this particular person was banned or not. My opinion is still the same, I still hope every person that has hacked (whether they do it themselves or pay someone else to do it) get their game deleted and banned.
Yeah, cause I'm sure you've never downloaded music to your computer, or watched a bootleg dvd, or streamed a movie in line. In fact, you're probably perfect, and never done anything wrong in your life. So please, stay up there on your high horse, and keep judging others like this effects your life in any way shape or form. How sad and empty can someones life be that they care what happens to other people?? I don't care who gets banned, who doesn't, who hacks, or who doesn't, because IT DOESN'T EFFECT MY LIFE. I worry about myself, not others, you should try it.
Very well stated, chrisp...I used the same digital music comparison on another site. If you choose to hack the game, great...if you don't, wonderful...more power to you. I don't care either way. It's your own individual choice how you want to play and it doesn't affect me one way or another. Complaining about people using hacks comes off like sour grapes from people who want items they can no longer get to me. Otherwise, why would you bother complaining about it? Just enjoy your game and move on.- It's like steroids in baseball, I just assume that the majority of players are cheating.
- I very much doubt that ea will ban gamezino accounts because of the way the product was sold. He didn't sell unlimited donuts so possibly people who bought the packages would potentially spend money buying donuts. Imho. If it was unlimited donuts than maybe they would shut down accounts
It was a trusted source for the information so that would be another reason but there is pain ahead for all involved in gamezino TheKingChivas wrote:
I don't really want to get in on this argument, but to say that hacking doesn't have the potential to affect people who choose not to is naive at best. If enough people got donuts and premium items for free it could cut into EA's profits. This would result in them raising the prices on donuts and premium items. I think Luci's opinion is just as important as someone who has hacked. You shouldn't try to dismiss it just because you disagree.chrisp530 wrote:

I have played a few MMO games where hackers of some sort or another ruined the game. One wrote macros because you can auto target with F7. eventually got tired of running Mastodons into their target area.
Next one was good but players could trade items and money. This attracted real hackers (you didn't have to do an ebay thing) That would trade your items to an accomplice then move the items around to multiple account or sell cheap. Players who bought gold from off site websites really ruined that game.
So I was wondering how this game was being hacked; now I see, thanks for the insight.

Except that's never happened. EA's prices have been the same since day 1. So lets cross that imaginary bridge when we get there.
And my point was, if you download music, or anything else, then what right does anyone have to judge others for hacking? Give me a break. It's not about disagreeing. It's about, that until hacking THIS game effects your experience, then you have no argument.
