- The fact that he was voiced by Phil Hartman makes it no surprise to me.

If we can get actual real life dead presidents into the game. There really should be no reason why we can't get characters voiced by Phil Hartman considering they are made up cartoons characters. I understand not having them appear in the show. But other media should be fine (games, comics, etc...). Playmates made actual action figures of both Lionel Hutz & Troy McClure & these action figures had voice clips by Phil Hartman when they were interacted with. Both these figures were made way after the death of Hartman. Yet Fox & Gracie Films had to issues whatsoever.
The fact that they actually made a character of Lyle Lanley for Tapped Out, animated him, included him into the storyline & even made him task able, clearly shows that it is possible to have the Hartman characters in the game. Especially considering that no characters besides the main 6 actors are voiced.
Lyle Lanley is synonymous with the Monorail. To not have him as part of this event at the end as an actual character is a huge disappointment. He's more iconic than Jesse Grass, Ray Patterson, Sebastian Cobb & the Recycling Hippie. I feel as its a slap in the face. They teased us with his pressence & took him away.- Phil Hartman's estate doesn't own him.

That's what the annoying part about it is, they already did all the hard work, it would've been easy to let us keep him.Deadshot_DCU wrote:

This. All of this. I want Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure more than most of the regular characters we've had.
next level they should add "I can't believe it's a law firm!" so Lionel Hutz can come and sue Lyle Lanley for skipping town with the $$.
Judge Snyder can sentence Lanley to indefinite community service so he has to stick around.C0rgano wrote:
