More power to you. I'm seriously not bagging on anyone who spends serious money on this game, but I know I cannot personally justify even $10.42 for such an item.
I'm not trying to be one of those pompous completionists. If anything, I'm jealous of your position.
I'm a slave to the Simpsons, and now consequently I'm a slave to EA.
Also, in full disclosure, I'm not afraid to spend money on donuts either. I have many premium items in my town. And to be honest, if this thing was closer to 100 donuts, it'd already be in my town; however, when I think of the dollars-to-donut ratio (I only buy $20 at a time), a 250 donut non-character, non-multiplying vanity deco is an easy no-buy for me.
There is a 5.0 multiplier with the ship.
what's your source?- I love the Ghost ship, far better than any of the regular stuff for this Halloween so far, except maybe the big Pumpkin.

I'll go into my town, store it and check my multiplier and bring it out and recheck.
Brb with my report, el Capitan. ;)redwagonner wrote:

All I saw was 135 every 4 hours. You are either mistaken or lying.- If I wanted to buy something that cost 250 donuts I would buy the expensive bowlarama
At least I would get Barney... - Holy crap. He's right.
Checked my multiplier with ship on Squidport. 185.5% I stored it and my multiplier went down to 180.5%
(Brought it back out and multiplier didn't go back up until I resynced. But it DID go back up to 185.5%) annettemarc wrote:

Thank you for confirming this.Mirality wrote:

Not according to its store entry. Where are you getting that from?
From taking the ship in and out of inventory and checking their conformity bonus. It does seem to have an unadvertised 5% multiplier.
Warning though, the Conformity bonus meter is acting strange. If you try to check the meter by taking an item with a multipler and alternately putting in it in and out of your inventory, the meter will show the decrease in Conformity bonus but not the increase! That is, the meter will keeping going down every time you put a multiplier item away but fail to reflect the increase when you put it back out.
My meter had dropped 20% during my experimentation with the ship-freaked me out, but thankfully simply refreshing the game (exit and reenter) fixed the meter.- It's odd but they've been sneaking in decos with multipliers but not advertising it. Like the barbarian status from CoC.
