You see, I don't get that attitude. Wouldn't it be more boring if there was no event at all? The 4 hourly cycle is long enough not to turn it into a grind, and the length of each arc means that it is possible to achieve all the prizes even when you don't log in religiously every 4 hours.
It's not up to me to decide what's entertaining, that's EA's job. If people are leaving the game you have to question why?
