You see, I don't get that attitude. Wouldn't it be more boring if there was no event at all? The 4 hourly cycle is long enough not to turn it into a grind, and the length of each arc means that it is possible to achieve all the prizes even when you don't log in religiously every 4 hours.
I had to log in every four hours during Act 1 and I barely scraped in for Bont, whilst everybodys situation is different, for some reason this event has been hard going for me and I've been doing the same as the other events I've participated in, now i'm okay in Act 2 but this event so soon after the last one and the triple whammy over February along with that struggle in Act 1 has me counting down the days when this is over, as soon as I finish Act 3, sod the bonuts, everyone on 24hr tasks for a few days and some rest for me....
