Greenery Everywhere

Your town always makes me smile, I love the "welcome" LOL.

I'm in the process of creating a whole town screenshot because I want to remember the snowy look when it finally melts. I'll contribute a garden shot later today once I figure out what to use lol. I haven't been focusing all that much on gardens with this monochromatic landscape.

I imagine the reindeer will have moved off by the thaw.
  • It seemed like most people were going to wait until the snow was gone to do any major decorating. Now that it's apparent that we're stuck with the white stuff for a while, it's nice to see many of my neighbors taking on full redesigns. I think we'll all be in awe once the green returns to Springfield.
  • I do have two parks both designed in the snow that I will be curious to see how they translate, rather big so had to stitch them together.

EDIT: it would appear that Moe has quite the animal smuggling operation going on there as well.

I honestly can't do anything while the snow's here. It looks pretty, but I just can't visualise things properly enough to do any real designing. I feel like my Springfield's stagnating, I'll be happy once the green makes a return.

I miss the green and mostly the trees seeing all these dead lifeless trees about is such a shame :( Snow was great when it 1st arrived but now i want to redesign having the snow really makes life difficult :(

Yes, I thought about holding off, but I could not. Now I am super curious to see how it is going to translate, and if it sucks I can always do another redesign. As tough and annoying as it was, I found I actually looked forward to the game more, so I can see myself doing redesigns more often. I will get a full shot of the town stitched together then tear it down so at least I will have documented memories
  • I did a total redesign with the snow, so I'm hoping it'll look at least decent when they finally remove it. I predict I will be changing a lot of the flowers, though. Can't really see what they look like nor remember it. :-)
  • Love the before and after pictures, RSommons! Your town center was impressive in the snow, but now it looks idyllic.

I have never seen Springfield all green and lush before (started playing just as the Christmas update hit) so I am agog at just how purdy everything looks. I'm kind of okay with not being able to visit most of my neighbors' towns yet, because it gives me a chance to reacquaint myself with my own. I didn't take a snowy picture of my municipal center because, well, it wasn't all that special, but I am so happy with it now that I just have to share.

Ah, spring in Springfield is grand indeed.
