- Castiel_ToukSeasoned NewcomerI'm not enjoying it as much any more. Been here since the beginning and will keep playing to the end but its just getting boring now. Designing is not much fun as well and I used to spend hours doing that and now I just put a quick design together and be done with it.
- It's not what it used to be but I'm grateful it's still going even if it is in a simpler form. It was about a year ago when it was really looking like they were wrapping it up.
- We should be grateful that the game is still even active. That EA, and game devs, while they churn out the same event, ad nauseam, they're still new events; with new content.
They can pull the plug at any time, and not even give us the time of day. - Honestly, no I don't think it has. Admittedly I am not enjoying the events as much as I used to when they had crafting etc. However, this game is all about the design for me, I never get bored designing. They add new content all the time! The game isn't perfect & there's things that I wish they'd fix etc but I still enjoy playing it as much as I always did. I'm going to be pretty devastated when they eventually pull the plug.
- I still enjoy it every bit as much as the first day
- sideshowdan9Seasoned RookiePeople have moaned about the format of all events since, er, Stonecutters.
It's too hard, so you get 4hr grinds.
It's too easy, so you get several acts forcing players to wait until the next bit is live.
All the event formats are the same and that damn wheel is bad, so you get crafting or currency type events.
Then - *possibly - having to adapt new events/increased graphics for the oldest supported device...
May not be as good as it once was, but given the feedback and changes they have implemented it's no surprise.
I am not going to defend them, because they need to raise the item limit RIGHT NOW and probably release more land for others, but the changes in the events seem to be an attempt to discover a balance to suit those who finish the acts early and those who can't devote loads of time to the game, those who want certain items and those who want all of the items.
Finding the ideal format would appear to be an impossible task. Although increasing the item limit RIGHT NOW which would make the game immediately better. - bluntcardNew TravelerI will say this, the writing is still very good, funny and well thought out. So, to me that means there is still passion for this game by the people creating it, and that's a good sign. I miss neighbor interactions. That was super fun and exciting, to find things in your town that weren't there before you went to sleep. But, I think the characters are still good, great animations, funny story lines. It's not its heyday, but still great fun.

So.......
Let's say you're only given ham sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner for several months..... So you complain.
Instead of sandwiches you're given pasta for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Perhaps, at first you're ok with it, something new.
However soon enough you once again tire of it, so you complain again.
Now you're only given fish sticks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.....is the issue what you're given?
Or the fact that you're ONLY GIVEN THAT ONE THING ALL THE TIME.
This is my real problem, sure no perfect format exists, but you can mix and match...it's not perfect but it's better than what we have now. - I've thought about the game boredom and wonder if it was worth working (farming) to reach level 939.
150+ donuts any time we need them, billions in IGC, able to buy anything might contribute to the boredom.
As in... Not much to look forward to. - lucienleon519Rising Rookie

Having loads of IGC and donuts, an empty store and no mystery boxes does mean there's none of the past excitement from saving up for an item and finally getting it.
...but being able to pick up every item that comes along without a second thought, and rushing acts to escape the 4hr grind more than makes up for it imo.
