Has the colour palette changed with xmas removal?

it's just the grass returning effect that tricks you. from all the white we had in a month

Yeah post winter seems to always make Springfield a little brighter until we get used to it again. Not unlike actuall winter and spring. But with less mud.

Looking at older screen shots on Springfield Showcase, the grass is exactly the colour as the grass on the image at the top of this page. It is much brighter now. I don't know when it changed but it has been altered at some point.

Search back for threads from this time of the year and the same thought is posted every time.

new device is a good bet.... I've played for years on the same tablet, and only just started using a brand new phone as well... colors are much more vibrant on the newer phone than on my old tablet

Y'know, I was thinking the same thing, but I wonder if the colors have really changed or we're just reacting to the contrast with the white snow.

Lots has changed with this game since 2012, colors too.

Went to the iCloud to find some old screen shots for comparison.

All shots taken with an iPhone6, though two separate phones as I Hulk smashed the first one in October. They look pretty similar. If anything, perhaps even slightly less colorful/vibrant now than previously.

No change, its just your brain tricking you.
