Have you spent donuts on the easter event?

Well you can actually help your friends just as much, if not more, by exchanging eggs in their towns, so I wouldn't feel bad about not buying any more baskets to put in your own :)

Yep. I spent 100 donuts last night and got Johnny Fiestas, Banana Dictatorship and Hugs Bunny (also got enough fences for the 15 free donuts) and was more than happy. Two buildings and a character would usually be over 200 donuts.

I bought Candy, Puppies, & Fireworks with the scraps from my last gift card, but no eggs.

(I might have bought the big egg generator if I'd had enough, but I didn't.)

Yes, over 700 donuts on the event and 100 for the Cat Lady. Finally finished the prizes just last night. I regret starting now and won't be fooled next time. It's just I wanted to complete things after spending so much. Really a more tedious than fun event unfortunately. It will say a lot about EA how the next event is set up.

BTW I wish we could trade in all our extra eggs!

I bought one of the truckloads of my uncommon color (blue) and two of the big crates of blue eggs. All I got out of all of those donuts was a bunch of ponds/fences/egg piles/towels/pink eggs which I didn't need, a Kang topiary and Bunny #24601. Pretty terrible. I refuse to spend anymore money on this event. Those lame prizes should clear from the box after a certain amount. I have no use for them. The Christmas wheel was better because it would take out stuff you won and put in s new thing. I was able to clear the Christmas wheel with only spending a couple of dollars. I'm not even close to clearing the Easter event. So, yes, I do regret buying eggs. Total waste of money.

Crazy Cat Lady was so worth the 180 donuts she cost. That was one awesome thing about this Easter update. I have NO regrets about getting her. I do regret the eggs. It's totally my fault for buying them. I should have known that it'd be fixed. I don't blame EA for my gullibility, but I won't be fooled again. No more gambling with donuts for me.

Yes I agree - the Cat Lady quest line is hilarious. It at least gave me some sense of humor while I wasted donuts on the event.

I know... but I was frusterated because my last gold box was 2 horrible multicolored wooden fences and I was at 47/50 fences so now I am missing 1 fence to reach the 50... :evil:

None so far, and I won't. I've cleared the pink box, and I have all but the egg council guy from the blue. Gold, well that's a different story, as I've managed only 6 gold boxes and won a gate, the flying bunny, a topiary, and Hugs Bunny, plus a couple of pastel fences.

I've gotten three buildings and one playable character. That's a success for me. I realize others are not as easily satisfied, especially if you put money or donuts into the event, and I hope you have time to win what you've still got your eye on.

Yes I have spent donuts during the Easter event...but it was on frinks lab :mrgreen:
