Have you tried resetting your device? How much free memory does your device have? Have you tried running TSTO with all other apps closed down?

Hope you get your game back.
Reinstalling didn't help me. I had to reset my device (back to factory setting, and then recover from backup). It took hours to redownload the game but I could access the game after that (might be a coincide). I cut down trees, small objetcs, fences, and now my game is stable.
If you want refund, directly contact itunes.
For complains to EA.
