We definately need that as a shared task :D
How long should the task be though?
Ten hours. So I can come home from work and they'd still be going at it.- I've always wondered why that wasn't a task. Its one of the first things people think of about this show.
- It is really odd that one of the most iconic things you associate with The Simpsons hasn't been put in the game yet! I'd have thought it would have been one of the first things they did! :?

I hear you. He's been doing it for 25 years. Lot of things that are hard to overlook on the show - him strangling Bart. Apu being badly stereotyped. The only thing that justifies apu for me is that generally he's much smarter than the average Springfielder and the character (at least early on) has a humorous contempt for Americans and our increasingly slovenly culture. cakeinvestigator wrote:

+1- jukan00New Spectator^^^^^^^ also- to each their own, we all have different perspectives but Bart getting strangled has never been the first thing I associate with the show. Before you bring that task give us Maggie or let Marge do something besides make her "marge noise". Let mom say something.

As an abuse survivor, I hate to see it on the show and I'd probably leave the game if it were added here. I find it distasteful and I wish they'd take it out of the show too. 25 years or no, it's wrong.

But even as a day one tapped, surely you can admit it is an integral part of the show's history that is one of the most iconic actions to the point that it was featured heavily in merchandise.- orionsbellNew SpectatorParents can (should) monitor their children's TV viewing. However the game is a free app and so it is hard for parents to regulate. Hence, the lack of extreme violence in the game. Good call on the part of EA.
Personally, I've never liked the strangling bit in the show. I just don't find abuse against children and animals funny. orionsbell wrote:

Of course EA doesn't seem to hesitate to show alcohol abuse and cigarette smoking by numerous characters....
