How do you remove sound notifications?

I tried that but it just gives me the music and sfx options. So any of those control the notification sound when youre not in the app?

Directly under the sound bars it says push notifications. Turn them off.

I was under the impression that it was for the message notifications as well and not just the sounds. Ok, thanks both of you :)

Yep, also if you have a iOS devicem you can turn them off from tge notification center.

I love having the notifications myself, but I wish that they could be silent sometimes. My mother today gave me a funny look when I was at her place today. Homer came up and shouted "Better them than me!" and I had to explain what that was. :lol:

they really need a option to disable the sound but not the notifications.. i don't mind having notifications but can't stand having homer saying better them then me

you either have to disable them all or have your phone on silent.

i turn them off in the phone settings not in the game itself

well i don't know what device you have but ion an iphone you can change the notifications

i have mine set to get the on screen messages but the audio notifications are disabled. has been this way almost since day 1 because i agree homer yelling "better them than me" can be quite annoying especially when you are sleeping.

if you have an iOS device do the following as i don't have android so i have no idea.

this is all done from the phone not from the game

1. go to settings
2. go to notification center
3. select tapped out.
4 turn the selection that says sounds off.

you can modify other notification settings for the game in here if you like.
