Character tasks, tapping bandits, etc. all generate items (pickaxes, hats). You trade them in for the prize currency (currently "clues").
HOW THE EVENT WORKS
*Items generated at Town Center = same as Halloween (stories). You can choose Homer or Apu to switch what item type is generated from character tasks.
*Redeeming items -> prize currency = same process as Monorail Event. Also has the same "complete X contracts" to get a daily prize.
*Prospectors in neighbours towns = same as many other events (gremlins, grem-aliens, mutant vegies, etc.)
