I am interested to find out how long forum members (especially veteran players) think it would take to create a new FREEMIUM town and progress to the maximum level of 939, taking part in events, finishing all the level quest lines up to level 60, getting 1 billion in SH, but excluding upgrades for IRS, tree and MM. Perhaps 6 months? 9 months? A year? Or even longer? I have seen comments suggesting 'it must be hard for a freemium player'. *A player being me :smile: I started a new town in January 2017 as part of CTTF - if anyone is taking part in this or a neighbour of GrannysCTown then please do not post, as you will have some idea of how my level is progressing.

That's a tough call. It would depend mostly on how big a house farm you have and how often you turn on the XP collider, how well you allocate donuts to multiplier increases and how often you play. Those influence your accension to 939 the most. Every 4 hrs, XP collider on, and a 50 unit house farm of blue, white and puple each, probably 6 to 9 mos. I can't say for sure because I've played for sooooo long freemium, everything is warped out of perspective, and I'm never going to start a new town again. I have a side town already, but don' t use it much anymore, because most of the advantages are now programmed out of the game for fairness to newbies. Two devices on one town played simultaneously, might help out more. But that kid needs changing and feeding and playtime too, right? You guys have an adorable little one, play with him the most, and get ready for the next!

Isn't this what the Race to the Finish thread in OT is about? That's what I assumed from the title, but IdkCheck there if you haven't already.

I'd say more than a year... at least.

I played 100% freemium for three years and If I played the same way I did when I started it would probably take more than a year. I didn't house farm or do mystery boxes or buy multiples of anything. I didn't even have any neighbours until I came across this forum when I was trying to find information about Halloween 2013. On the other hand if my only purpose was to get to level 939 as fast as I could then I don't think it would take more than a few months.

I have been using the collider ever since I got all the level 1 to 60 characters and I mostly use 1 hour tasks. I only have about 10 each of the purple, pink and blue houses and 4 white houses.

How quickly could a player* get to 939?

If all else fails, I've enough to get that at least nd the wait for Barney will continue...

I just got Jacques from this offering, got Barney when I first got here, thing he was either a bundle (Barney, bowling alley and his space suit during the NARA event or discounted. Don't remember.
While I could live without Jacques, fiesta is awesome mind you, I still would have gotten Barney and the bowling alley first. Barney is a main character to me, had to have him. Not to mention, I love his back flipping all over town :) 3 hr Task in his space suit.
Just my opinion of course.

Barney will always be in the store, although not on sale, but he does seem to go on sale at least a few times a year. Fiesta terrace is limited time and you never know when these things will come back around. Just a little more food for thought for you...

I believe Barney was only discounted twice, so maybe once a year if we don't average out for the full 4 or 5 years he's been available.

But he is an everyday item in the store, albeit a pretty expensive one. I just bit the bullet and paid the regular price when I got him.

That's the thing i'm trying to get my head round, maybe further down the line i'll be like '250D..pfft, that's nothing' I figured I have to build 1,000KEM with the collider on just to get enough level up doughnuts to reach him... it's possibly, i have some space and up to 18m IGC now...or spend a day KEM farming with the collider and get Jacques, Shorty's, Gridiron and possibly rolling rock.....

Decisions decisions....

I really want Barney now though.....
