How to get free donuts by visiting friends?
The more friends you have (there is a max cap at 100), the more chances you have at collecting free donuts as you visit friends.

If you still have FP points to collect then you wont be able to get any donuts, once you have the FP bar full you should start to see some premium currency appearing :)- I get a donut or two every week. Just make sure to sync your game when you see the donut pop out. Syncing is done by returning to the neighbours screen followed by your town. If you lose your connection before you sync, you lose the donut.

My Kindle has crashed and I've never lost a donut. Can you explain the situation/conditions under which you have lost a donut? I get 2-3 donuts a week. I've even lost my WIFI connection during a donut grab, and still got it.

I've heard it from the other players. For them it happens every now and then where if they see the donut, but lose the connection, it doesn't get counted. I think it depends on how good your connection/phone is and how often the game auto-syncs with the game servers. I know that in my case, I've steps where I redesigned my town due to disconnects. Not only with donuts but with $$, FP, and XP. I think it is the same reason that if you go too fast they won't count! I recommend at least letting the $$, FP, XP, and donuts, stop moving before continuing.
Synching is not a bad idea whenever you want to make sure the game gets saved. :wink:
