HOW TO GET YOUR SNAKES BACK

I agree with most but their is definitely a glitch. In one persons town I continuously lose 20 snakes. Each time I go in. Which means that, in that persons town, they sent Lisa to me 4 times, lisa's task must be stuck and will keep deducting 20 every time I go in. Well that's one possibility and could be the same for the rest. I think the task is meant to lift but it appears that if I was to send Lisa to one of my friends town 3 times, every time that person entered my town they'd be 15 snakes down each time.


I need someone to test this on, I've only ever sent Lisa to one town, but stopped once I realised all this was going on.

    I would like to add that with the ratio of snakes to eggs combined with the fact that I do not have the time to spend hours searching for snakes? I probably won't be completing all the tasks before the event ends and I'm at peace with that, not going to spend donuts to get those items either.

    Also, myself and several others have tested this and have posted it elsewhere. These findings are appearing in multiple posts be sure to add when you do this that these are guesses and in noway are they to be taken as "a fix" or anything.

    One more thing, you will discover that there are certain towns on your list that are glitchy. They will always take the same amount of snakes from you. These towns have not released Lisa on you, they have not done anything to make this happen. Just be aware when you enter that town and look for your missing snakes.

    Honestly?

    I'm trying to prevent a blacklist situation by pointing out that we do not know if these people did anything for sure so let's don't blame them offhand.

    Myself and two others share multiple friends (it happens when you've been here a long time) and we have 5 friends that always take snakes from us. We discovered that the same towns take the same number of snakes from each of us even if we leave the town and go back in again. It is very unlikely that they have released Lisa that many times into each of our three towns even if it did get stuck.

    I think it's some sort of glitch going on with certain towns?

    I agree to prevent a black list, what I meant was they originally sent her to you...say 2 times. That's it. nothing more nothing less. But the task is stuck, so every time you enter that town it thinks it hasn't taken the ten snakes it's owed. So it will keep deducting this same amount every time. Not because they keep sending her to you. I'm just trying to find the trigger.

    But in all honesty, this was the dumbest task in the history of gaming, if it meant we was to collect our own snakes in another persons town it would of meant we would be doing the same thing regardless. So IMO it needs to be scrapped.

    I still a little unsure on this.....collected 90 snakes....made one visit to a friend....returned to my own town to find I lost the whole lot :/

    I disagree with some things. One, I don't believe that we're ever presented with more snakes than we're allowed to whack so if it's 5, you'll only ever see 5, if there are snakes to be recaptured then it'll be related to your friend sending Lisa to your town.

    Second, just judging from my own behavior and the number of snakes deducted, the reason why some towns make you drop a significant number is related to how many times you've entered that town within a 24 hour period. Hard to know when it starts or when it ends. Does it to by your time period or your friend's time period on his or her side, I don't know but the towns that I lost the mos snakes from were all towns that I entered and exited multiple times throughout the day and they just happen to be the first couple of towns. All other towns and there were very few, lost 5 snakes, whacked 10. The only issue is that you don't necessarily get the same number of snakes back on your counter b/c you might be awarded eggs instead.

    Third, I believe that some people know how Lisa's task works and they continue to send her to their friends' towns. Not to be jerks but they're the type of personalities that see this as an aspect of the game and since you're not really having snakes stolen but just relocated that they're going to keep doing it and when people finally see that it's not the end of the world that the panic will stop.

    I too feel that it's very important to not be trigger happy with the deleting just because a few scattered towns might end up docking you a few snakes because you can make them up and it's part of the game. It's there to be played and it's not meant to hurt anyone. I haven't deleted anyone and I had drops of 15-20 snakes in a couple of towns but I also know how many times I went in there to drop eggs, collect and because I clicked on it by mistake (my list gets rearranged all the time, it's very annoying and now that it's not alphabetical it's harder to keep track where you left off.)

    I have two neighbors (since I've started tracking but I don't visit them all at once so I may have more) who have consistently taken 30 snakes from me each and every time I've gone into their towns. I've stopped going into their towns because it's a pain in the butt finding those 30 snakes plus the 5 my license gives me.

    Yes, I do get 35 snakes. I've taken the screen shots of before and after so I know I'm not seeing things (LOL it could happen where I'm imaging things so I did it as proof for myself). I have gotten the more than 5 snakes the license gives me in the towns where I lost snakes.

    I'm not going to delete these people, I still believe that they didn't steal my snakes. I think the way this is meant to be played is that Lisa releases the snakes then you have to go and get them back. The fact that it's not working exaclty that way is a combination of players not understanding how this works and a glitch in some towns.

    Again....these are my guesses and are in no way meant to be taken as fact.

    I still think something other than Lisa is causing this, or if her task, it's still a bug. Or at least poor game play design. Some have been running tests on Lisa task with more controlled setups, and I thought they said there is no effect from her task.

    1. This is touted as a social game, but taking snakes out of other people's banks is not social behavior. It's decidedly anti-social. If I've banked something, it should stay there. Worse when you can't recapture them without the license. Every other action in other towns until this has benefited both parties, so if intentional, it's counter to the ethos of the game.
    2. EA should be more clear with rules if this is the way it should work.
    3. Aren't the snakes dead when whacked? How would she release my dead snakes into other towns?
    4. What happens when Lisa's task listed in the walk through comes up tha seems to be the opposite behavior?
    5. No one has explained losing 50 snakes in one town. That means that town's Lisa came to your town 10 times. The math doesn't work base on the release date of this update, unless someone is speeding Lisa's task. Possible, sure.
    6. Plus as for game play, why would EA make us hunt for that many more snakes in other towns. It's takes to long. Unless they are intentionally making it harder to get to the top prize levels, which I wouldn't rule out.

    Something strange just happened. Yesterday I received a huge lot of eggs from a few users and I hadn't collected that many eggs so I wasn't able to return in kind (I gave each 10 which is all I had.) No problems with the snake counter going in to drop off the egg but I just went in now to whack, drop off and collect and my counter dropped significantly so they would have had to sent her to my town multiple times b/c I only went to theirs once to drop off eggs and then again just now to collect. I sincerely doubt that either of these users sent Lisa to my town so is it possible that the glitch is actually a work around for those users who do not return in kind? We all know of people in the past collecting coins, candy, hearts, etc., but not donating their fair share. Could EA have introduced this aspect to encourage people to share eggs with each other?

    Lissa, those friends that you notice always take 30 snakes from you, do they usually leave you an extra amount of eggs in your town since you're closer buddies? I'm going to PM my guys to see if they did actually send Lisa to my town or if it's totally random. It's just too weird b/c I had zero issues with their town yesterday.
