KrustyBrand, interesting thought. You might be right. But as we all say, STOP AT AN EVEN NUMBER! 60 is good for like minutes in an hour evenness. If they have to leave it odd, then 69 will do, I concur. It would be cruel for them to continue just to stop at 61....ForumNerds wrote:
They appear to someone into all the pleasures. I bet they find 59 to be even more sexual than 69. What kind of position is that? ;)heyababy47428 wrote:

That's because you're a Normal Person. :)
I'll explain when your older.
However generally yes an even number is fitting or a number ending in 5, although my favorite is 100 some find it better if it is over 9000, truly it takes all kinds, but regardless of what is released somebody will complain so i see no problem.
thats just my 59 cents' ForumNerds wrote:
First, I too wish they would not leave it at "59". It seems many of us are channeling our inner "Monk" . :)
Second, @patwright4, go to your room.
Third, (forgive my repeating what I said elsewhere a few weeks ago), I think this is their new business model. Level 58 was 6 months ago. SINCE that time, the only PERMANENT premium items released came in the "long-ago" Level 59, and cost a total of 165 donuts. In that same time-frame (6 months), they have released LIMITED TIME premium items that cost a total of 4,965 donuts.
As I said then, they suddenly are "showering" us with free donuts, but they're "flooding" us with premium items. All LIMITED TIME. Which adds an urgency to Buy Now. And to "Buy Now", I need enough donuts to fill whatever gap I have between free-donuts-I've-received-from-all-the-new-free-donut-methods-and-bonuts and number-of-donuts-to-buy-this-item that's going to leave the shop "in 12 hours"
Once they get a long-time freemium to buy, say, 15 donuts to fill a gap to buy a 150 donut LIMITED TIME item when all they have is 135 (free) donuts, that person is much more likely to visit the donut shop again.
I know that limited-time items are known for "returning", but even if one did in the future, there would be others being added along the way. So being assured that an item "will probably return" isn't really that reassuring.
Meanwhile, for new players, the game must be a lot more exciting than it was for those of us who plodded along through level updates with an occasional Special Event.
They must be making a fortune. ;)

Maybe this is a good way to tell who's meds are working and who's aren't :x:-) :x  :x  - Looking at this from a programming point of view.....
Ever notice how everything seems to be based on 6?
The shortest jobs and building times are 6 seconds. Why 6? Using a hexadecimal system?
Job times are often based on 6 or multiples or permutations of 6.
Just a guess here, but what if the data field for levels is limited it to 60? They didn't think they'd ever get that far when they first started.
Now keep in mind that when you started, you started at level 0. So we really have reached 60 levels if you count the zero.
Maybe I'm just waaay out there. Looking at that 59 too long. LPLeach wrote:

I always thought hexadecimal was based around 16.- I imagine that, in terms of a revenue source, the mini-events are much greater than the level updates. People are much more inclined to buy limited time stuff, and so not too shocked to see more development time directed there.

My bad. Been a long day. You are correct.LPLeach wrote:

I think that 6 is relevant because it represents 0.1 minutes. Thus, there's probably a field for storing times that has a single decimal precision (0.1 = 6 seconds, 0.5 = 30 seconds, everything else is greater than 1.0).
Just a hunch though.
