If it were me, I wouldn't buy anything right now. I would save everything for Squidport and once that has been released, make decisions on what to buy. The available land isn't going anywhere, so unless you have buildings to purchase and absolutely nowhere to put them, I'd hold off.
($2.8 and climbing...$3 should be enough to make a big dent in Squidport..)
