- 1. EA makes money from donuts to keep the game going. If people keep buying there is no reason to lower prices or make changes.
2. If you aren't getting quests then you don't have the right people available to initiate them.
3. That's nit-picky.
4. This has been covered.
5. Of course they need to fix the reset issue. EA is aware of it but nothing has been done. jasonicus321 wrote:

Yes, generally yes, yes, many times, and yes.jasonicus321 wrote:

1. I support EA making money from the donuts. They would make much more by pricing things for maximum sales. Happy users + more sales = everybody wins. Paying over $10 for a virtual building in an iPhone game is something that would only appeal to die-hard fans. Paying $2 would appeal to many, many more people.
2. I have researched this and have the necessary characters for several building quests, yet they still elude me.
3. Why is it nit-picky? Wouldn't it be fun to discover new task options every week or so?RobDaniel76 wrote:

1. EA isn't hurting on donut sales in mid-November, they had almost 7 million players, who spent an average of $20 US each. Those numbers have gone up, probably by a significant amount; but those numbers aren't out yet.

2. You are doing something wrong. Release all characters from all tasks and let the roam free. When they are all free, one will give you the prompt to start the next quest.
3. Weekly updates aren't likely to come anytime soon, and there are only so many things they can do.coffret_do wrote:

1. 7 million players spending an average of $20 would be $140 Million. According to their latest earnings statement, EVERY game on the Origin platform combined has earned a total of $150 Million over the past year. That's gross - not net. The infographic you cite simply shows the number of donuts spent - that includes the ones people earn in-game. I am simply stating the opinion that EA has not found the sweet spot on pricing with this game. I had no idea it would be such a controversial statement.
2. I have tried not giving characters a task for a full day - doesn't help. I check in every few hours - no quests. Maybe the problem doesn't affect everyone, but it does happen. I haven't had stability issues since the latest updates, but I don't assume that the people who are have been "doing something wrong."
3. Forget I mentioned providing more tasks. I think some variety would be fun, but I guess repeating the same five options over and over is decidedly the best possible scenario. Back to the Kwik-E Mart. Again.- Rob, what quest is next in your queue? Have you checked the build guide?

Enough said.- The build guide is very helpful - and I eventually progress. It just requires duplicating quests before the one I'm waiting on gets fired. Right now, I'm waiting on Ned to prompt the building of the church. Apu is doing his 24-hour shift, so hopefully it will fire when that is done. I frequently have issues where I have verified that the conditions are right to trigger the quest I'm waiting on, but it will arbitrarily wait a day or two before it starts.
- Make sure Homer and Ned are both unassigned when Apu finishes. If one or the other is tied up in a task, you might not get the prompt.
