If you hate complaints, DON'T READ MY POST!

Family Guy game is a downgrade so don't know why you would want to do that
  • Tip my hat to your co-worker, it's money you will never see again and when the day comes you've had enough of the game there's no rebates.

If 'gambling' pixels for pixels offends some people then why don't they just skip the event? They don't have to use the eggs and they will disappear at the end of the event.

Personally I'm surprised there are not complaints from animal activists about zapping cute bunnies in a game!!!

I bet if everyone got the prizes quickly then the complaints wouldn't be about gambling or how ea has wronged them but about how easy it is or how bored people are. There always has to be something... Sad. I feel sorry for the developers who have to put up with this every event.

As I've said before, I've won some good prizes in this event but I still think the random system sucks. The old way just made so much more sense. Don't feel sorry for the developers - they're rubbing their hands together with glee!

+1 totally agreed! The personal and community prizes were a much better system!

    +2 I couldn't agree more

True but I look at it like "gambling"...it is just like people who go to the casino and play the machines and lose money on a weekly basis. At least I have little town full of people, buildings and items I "own" LOL
  • Excuse me, complaint thread, I'm looking for the complaint thread about complaining so I can complain about complaint threads. Yo, Dawg, I heard you like complaint threads... But seriously, it seems that the only way EA might try to rectify problems is if we make them aware of our feelings towards said problems. I understand people getting annoyed by the number of threads, but gosh golly gee willickers, it sometimes seems as if EA has made a conscious effort to deliver cruddy, broken, and expensive content to compel us to complain. So here's to complaining!

Personally I see it as being entertainment and while my budget for this game is not huge, to me it is no worst than the money I spend on my cable bill, ticket to a play, or comedian show. Had fun while I watch it but cannot sale my memory of my fun time, same with this game.

Sorry if someone responded already to this, I haven't read the entire thread. Anyways, it's not really pixels for pixels. If people are spending real money on donuts to spend on eggs, they're gambling cash for pixels. It IS gambling, but yes, we do CHOOSE to engage in it. It's not forced, obviously. I understand the frustration. A lot of premium players aren't fond of the gambling aspect and I don't blame them. I spent a little money on donuts for eggs and I didn't win anything decent. That's okay. I understand that I was gambling. My constructive criticism for EA would be that the gambling aspect of this event simply isn't very fun or gratifying. If they had community prizes, or had prizes that you had to work your way up to, that would be more gratifying for some people. Then, premium players could choose to buy eggs to get them to a guaranteed prize quicker than freemium players, instead of having their money yield nothing. It kind of stinks when you spend cash on something in this game and you don't end up with anything to show for it. It makes me not want to spend money and to just play freemium. That will ultimately lose EA business. That's all I'm trying to say.
