I have just realised something. Now before I start this i am not having a go at the op or any other person who has complained.
There are people with real problems in the world and yet people here feel the need to complain. You are all lucky to have the money to get a device to play the game on. Some people would give allot just to get the cash most of is have spent on the game just to buy a warm meal. So instead of complaining about a free update on a free game think about the people who have a real reason to complain but most of them don't.
What if the OP gives hundreds of dollars each month to feed starving children and homeless cats?

lol that is the exact opposite of what I am trying to say here. Think about it with this event you either don't get everything or you pay aka taking the easy way out. I want an event where I can play a lot and actually earn my stuff not take a spin at a box and hope EA can be kind enough to bless me with and I item I worked for. If EA would of been like "ok get 10,000 eggs and you get the blocko store" I would of been fine with that because I can work hard for the item I want not go through box after box of fences and egg piles.rolybert7 wrote:

Did you play whacking day?
I'm playing way more regularly than I did then and I won't complete this one. WD was a grind, but guaranteed prizes. This is a grind and doesn't.
This is his first event
technically second I was here for valentines day if you count that.- My only problem with the update is the 3 boxes with 3 different currencies. In the other wheel based events, you were guaranteed at least one spin a day at new prizes. With this update you could go days without getting a gold box. For example, blue is my uncommon, had enough to get 2 blue boxes, and ended up with an egg cluster and 250 pink eggs. So no chance at the gold box today. Why not let players purchase gold eggs?

I don't normally post, I just read but I think you are being a bit of a hypocrite. You say not to complain but that is exactly what you are doing. Maybe you should take your on advice. So instead of complaining about complaining about a free update for a free game, you should think about people who have a real reason to complain.- I'm confused are there different prizes in different color
Boxes because blocko is in my common color
And Johnny is in my uncommon? funplanet222 wrote:

yes some people have blue as common while some people have pink- The Xmas 13 was great only had 2 friends and won all the prizes with 2 weeks left
Those were the events you earned your prizes
Now I'm maxed my friends can't even get the. 3 premium characters with one week to go
At my rate I'll probably have 5 gold boxes to open till the end chances are very slim Ratman5674 wrote:

You can use this reasoning for most complaints people have in first world countries. It doesn't mean that customers shouldn't hold companies to a decent standard. Let's say I bought a cashmere sweater at Banana Republic and it had a hole in it. Should I just say to myself "well, people are starving in the world, so I shouldn't complain"? No, I paid my hard-earned money for that sweater and I'm going to complain because that company accepted my cash and gave me a product that was sub-standard. The same reasoning applies here. Holding a company to a standard does not mean that one doesn't care about poor people. I can complain to the company AND donate to charity.
But the update isn't that bad. If it deleted everyone's town and forced you to buy donuts I would agree but it doesn't.
You're right, it's not game-breaking or anything, but it is really frustrating, especially for people who spent a lot of their donuts. I think that most of us aren't used to the events being this bad, so it's provoked a lot of complaints. I also think that people want EA to hear them and a lot of us feel like we're not being heard. A lot of us are trying to let EA know how unsatisfactory this event was so that they can fine-tune and fix it for future events. Hopefully, EA listens to their customers and makes some changes so this won't be a problem again. A lot of people who have been playing this game for years have said that it's the worst event ever. I think EA should listen to those people. Keeping the threads going gives some of us hope that EA won't forget about our complaints. I don't think the complaining would be so bad if EA responded. They don't have a very communicative customer service/PR department. They kind of leave us hanging. In the wake of their silence a bunch of people have started to voice their frustrations. Like I said, I think you'd see a lot less complaints if they just communicated with their loyal customers.
