Inexpensive tablet to play the game on?
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" and the game runs fine (Latest model is Tab 4). Get something with 1.5Gb RAM and you should be ok. Cost €150 Edit Also comes in 8"

Ok, so now you guys (speaking non-genderishly) have got me looking at Fire tablets. Hmmm...
The biggest drawback I see is the delay in updates. I've seen so many complaints here in the forum (and other forums) about how the Amazon updates always come out hours after the iTunes and Play store updates are available.
How about connectivity? My Nexus loads neighbor towns the fastest, followed by the iPad Mini - with my Galaxy Tab dragging its feet in third place.
I may have to wait a while anyway. All they have in stock are black 8 GB models (I'd prefer a Blue 16 GB one). I guess they ran out of stock on everything else because of the Prime Day sale?
Oh, and I just took a look at the Amazon App store... I can't find most of the games I have on my Nexus:
Pac Man
Plants vs Zombies 2
Futurama
