Inexpensive tablet to play the game on?
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" and the game runs fine (Latest model is Tab 4). Get something with 1.5Gb RAM and you should be ok. Cost €150 Edit Also comes in 8"

For the Plants vs Zombie thing, it does have the 1st game so that could help and it does have some versions of Pac man however they might not be the ones you like.
Plus it dies have the underground app store which has paid apps for free (I know you can get on other tablets) and then it has the amazon coins you can get with some app purchases and then use the coins to get other apps.
