- wadebearRetired HeroSo I got the Insignia Flex 8 and...
It's not quite as fast as my old Nexus 7 - maybe 1 or 2 percent slower.
It's the loudest tablet I've ever heard, but the sound quality is really crappy.
The touch screen isn't sensitive enough - I had to keep tapping the same spot to get it to register.
It kept dropping the wifi while I was trying to install stuff.
It's going back.
I guess I'm just gonna have to get another Samsung Galaxy Tab A. - wadebearRetired Hero

Wadebear, look into RCA tablets. Either a Viking or a pro. I got a 32g rca tablet for under 100$ and it has a USB port, HDMI port, sd port, blue tooth. Check em out on Amazon. Don't buy it at Walmart. Their more expensive than amazon. Happy tapping
I looked on Amazon and couldn't find anything in an 8 inch RCA tablet. 10 inches is too big - it would have to be so far away from my eyes I'd have to stretch my arm out to reach it.
I found one 7 inch tablet, but the specs didn't look any better than the others I've been looking at.
And then there's the fact that they're all RCA tablets... I've never had much luck with RCA stuff. - For the Plants vs Zombie thing, it does have the 1st game so that could help and it does have some versions of Pac man however they might not be the ones you like.
Plus it dies have the underground app store which has paid apps for free (I know you can get on other tablets) and then it has the amazon coins you can get with some app purchases and then use the coins to get other apps. jankrohn wrote:
Amazon Fire for $50 should be good enough. In case you're not in the US, make sure the app has no geographic restrictions for your country (as it has for mine...)
I tend to be an Apple guy, I'm playing on the latest iPhone now, but I bought a $50 dollar Kindle as a secondary device. I would endorse this purchase with only one caveat, the charger connect is EXTREMELY poorly designed (it falls out WAY too easily ). I think Amazon would do well if the spent an additional $5-10 on a better charger connection (and sold their Kindle for $55-60 instead). The current connecter makes me more than hesitant to use their device, and I've told them as much . I use it, but only when I feel like dealing with it. ...no where near as much as I expected.
My 2 cents.- I was going to say, just don't get a 2nd gen Nexus 7. I've had tons of touchscreen problems and it's a very common issue.

My 2 cents.
I haven't got the same Fire as you (I have the 8 inch 2015 version) but my charger connect is what you would expectlightening79 wrote:

Good. No problems with it.- I'm getting an iPad Air 2. My iPhone 4 just can't handle my growing town anymore!
- I just loaded up the game on an RCA maven tablet, $100 through Amazon. 32 gab, 11.6 inch screen, detachable keyboard. There are a couple of hoops you have to jump through. You cannot directly install from the App Store. You have D to find an unpatched apk, turn off security, load the apk, turn on security and then let the game update through Crome, not the play store. It is great playing on a huge tablet! Far more responsive than my iPad 2. My wife liked the tablet so well I had to buy her one.
