This makes zero sense to me. Whats the difference between this game and a console game? That you own the disk and can maybe get a $5 credit towards a future purchase? Would you make the same argument about people that purchase games digitally through the Playstation store (for example) instead of buying a hard copy?
This argument is like saying, whats the point of watching a movie that you dont own or going to a concert...once its over it only exists in your memories.
