BTW.....I doubt this thread will last much longer. If you keep up, putting each other down expect it to be locked real soon. It's lasted this long because people were respecting others rights to their own opinions.

Yeah-- were. I started it, and I'd be happy to see it end. These people who think voicing concern about the clumsy writing equals deep love for the NRA and its agenda are-- well, I don't want to get banned for personal attacks, so I won't say. My motive for posting was to complain that the game and the show handle sensitive political material in very different ways, and that the people writing the game have a lot to learn when it comes to satire. I haven't complained about any previous questlines because there haven't been any that dealt with subjects of this nature. If one had Wiggum telling Bart Obama wanted him to send the contents of Homer's wallet to GLAAD, I'd have complained about that too; not funny, ham-handed, and based on extreme political partisanship. For the record, I'm a progressive Democrat who doesn't own a gun and thinks it should be nearly impossible for private citizens to get one, but I also believe it doesn't help my side to misuse and debase a respected franchise to bludgeon the other side. If you don't have a problem with this questline, then you don't get the show.
