The donuts are a lie.
At least the mined donuts are a lie in my town because they don't survive syncing the game.
The rocks, buffalo and trees seem real enough. I have about 600 duplicate trees in storage now. The originals are still in place on the map.
I did have 4 items sitting in the space of one. When I got to the row of land that costs 3 deeds (45 donuts) it dropped to 3 items.
My theory on this is that after the update I thought my game was broken so I quit the game 3 times before the new land finished populating. After checking the forum and reading to let the game run and finish it's work, I let I do so. It took 3 minutes on my old tablet.
I think that is how the duplicates got there.
