Item limit rescinded?

Item limit is definitely tied to the hardware. I logged into account B today on my iphone5, and dropped eggs into Account A. I was able to drop 400+ eggs into account A. Before I couldn't pass 250 (when going from a 3GS). I ran out of eggs to drop, so I don't know if I would have hit a limit or not.

Nobody knows for sure, some are saying it is gone while others are saying they are getting the warning. Some are guessing that it was just raised.

What I did, to be on the safe side, was wait till I finished the Whacking Day stuff and then rebuilt my town. I'm redesigned and fully decorated and no problems.

Maybe they made it device specific. This wouldn't make much sense though since people visiting your town with an older (or lower end) device would run into problems if you had a ton of stuff.
