I wasn't here the first year, so maybe that's the reason I didn't buy it, but I was so totally broke the second year that it's entirely possible that I didn't get it even if I saw it, assuming it was ingame money. I think it was a premium from Halloween 2013. I wasn't around for the first Halloween, but there weren't ghosts, were there?- ...and if I had realized how cool it looked, I might have bought one! I tend to steer away from things specific to event currency, but that zapper looks mighty nifty :)

The Ghost Zapper was first available for Halloween 2013. It was a limited time premium item that once you tapped it, it would zap all the ghosts in the area at once. Pretty nifty
Nowadays it looks great when you add it to Frinks Lab. That's how I have mine set up- I really love the ghost zapper! I used it a lot during haloween. Let's hope we can still use it in a future haloween update!
- Yes its an item that appeared last halloween for collecting ghosts. Imagine for a house farmer (no im not one) if that could collect all money icons on screen. They would spend lots of money on it!
