Been trying to resist logging in and making a post because some of the comments on here make me realise the average age playing this game must be somewhere between 12-19 (I kid, I kid), but....
Has EA made any guarantees with their updates? Way too much assumption leading to claims of what people are owed. You're not owed bupkiss.
The whole wheel thing smacks of greedy and ungrateful little children. If you spent donuts on it - tough. You had the choice and you made it. I spun it and got all the things I needed and didn't overstretch when it came to neighbours or leaving the Springfielders out looking for Homer and Lisa.
If I'd spun and got nothing, I'd have got on with my life because the game doesn't guarantee me anything. (And I say this as someone who goofed and didn't buy Mr Sparkle. I goofed. My bad. Not EAs.)
It's luck. That's been said time after time after time. And yet we're still seeing threads referencing this.
Personally, it's not EA making me not want to play the game, it's coming on here to get some info or tips and seeing what feels like hundreds of SEPARATE threads (seriously, does there really need to be individual threads for each sob story??) whining about a FREEMIUM game.
Get over yourselves.
Totally agree, man. Ea owe us nothing. I'm just happy to have a game that compliments the awesome TV show that I've been watching for 26 years. If I spend money on a gamble, it's just that - a gamble, it could go well or not so well. It's the same reason I don't play with much money at a casino. When you gamble, expect to lose it.. and really, that's probably a good take home message for all of us :D
considering they have made 100 million+ in revenue out of the game i would say it wouldn't hurt them to throw us a bone every once and a while..
besides the snow god melting into a useless puddle (which many people only unlocked right at the end) we've been waiting on level 38 for quite some time.
it wouldn't hurt them to release updates more regularly even if it's just questlines or skins for one character it at least gives something to the community to do..
Why can't you just play the game to waste some time or have some fun, without having to "get something" in return? I don't get it, and I never will. I'm not saying you shouldn't feel ripped off and undervalued by a multimillion dollar organisation, you're entitled to feel like that and we're all different and that's fine.
i have other phone games i can do that with that have a lot more content plants vs zombies 2 and candy crush.
the simpsons game is great but when you have all the available free buildings plenty of cash saved up and don't have new quests for me there is little incentive to play it.
i still load it up every few days but it isn't as fun when you don't have new stuff to build or do.
imo this is a game that would benefit from weekly tasks added that give xp or whatever.. there is just too much downtime between updates/events.
