Jebediah Statue

I am trying to get the Jebediah statue for a task by tapping Homer 10 times and it is not working. Have done a search here and have tried all of the suggestions that I have found. Have logged out/back in, tapped Homer using my pad, not doing any task, etc. and still not finding it in storage. Any other suggestions? Aparently it is a known issue for quite some time. TYIA

    NM and thanks anyway. :) Tried one more thing and it worked. Tapped ten times while task screen is still open. Have a great day everyone.
